Couples counselling
Couples counselling for neurodivergent, neurotypical and mixed couples. A calm, even-handed space to understand what keeps happening between you, and to find a way of talking that works for both of you.

Couples come to me for all sorts of reasons. Some want to communicate better, or to stop having the same argument on repeat. Some are repairing after a hard stretch. Some are working out what a recent diagnosis means for the two of them, or how to share a home when you experience it very differently.
I work with couples of any neurotype, gender or sexuality. When one or both of you is neurodivergent, misunderstandings tend to run in both directions: one person's directness lands as coldness, the other's need for quiet looks like withdrawal. Neither of you is the problem. You may simply be speaking different dialects, and part of the work is learning to translate.
What we might work on
How I work
I'm not there to decide who's right. My job is to slow things down enough that you can both actually hear each other, and to make sense of the patterns underneath. My core approach is Transactional Analysis, which gives us a clear, shared map of what happens in the exchanges between you: why some conversations go well, why others go wrong in exactly the same way every time, and what each of you can do differently.
Sessions adapt to both of you. If one of you needs processing time, a break, or a bit of movement to stay present, that's built in rather than worked around.
Sessions & fees
Sessions run longer than a standard hour, so there's room for both of you to be heard without racing the clock.
Join from home anywhere in the UK, or meet in person in Lewes, East Sussex.
A relaxed 30-minute call to see whether we're a good fit, with no pressure to go further.
Whether one of you, both of you or neither of you is neurodivergent, sessions are shaped around how you each actually think and communicate.
